After a few slow news weeks, we finally have a decent look at an upcoming mix! This assortment of cars comes from Mix 6 and features the new Ram REV as well as a number of exciting recolors. If you haven’t already, check out the original post on the @matchboxworld Instagram.

Easily the most exciting model in this mix is the new 2025 Ram 1500 REV. Matchbox has a long history of making great, stock-looking trucks with correctly scaled wheels, and this new Ram looks ready to continue that tradition. While we don’t get a great look at it in the official sneaks, Instagram user black164diecast recently spotted one at retail.

From these pictures, we can see that this model will have full front and rear detailing, including the REV’s distinctive lit Ram logo and futuristic daytime running lights. I appreciate the use of the black base section to form the truck’s lower grille. This dark blue color is a bit more saturated than the grayish-blue used in Ram’s press images for the REV, but I think this is actually a more interesting color!

This Holden VF Commodore SSV may not be an interesting color, but that doesn’t stop me from being excited for another clean recolor of this model. This is a super cool casting, and I was so happy when the orange one was released last year. Hopefully the next recolor will be my favorite Holden color – Jungle Green Metallic!

Nardo Gray may be the most imitated paint color in the auto industry, but it feels like a perfect match for the Audi TTRS! I’m glad that this casting continues to retain its clean deco and stock paint colors, and I will definitely be tracking down this version for my collection.

Oddly, this lime green color is not a stock paint option for the C8 Corvette, so I’m surprised to see such a zany color when there are still excellent factory colors like Rapid Blue and Accelerate Yellow that we haven’t seen in Matchbox form. Nevertheless, the lime green is a cool color and worth picking up, though my collection of base model C8s is starting to feel a bit bloated. Hopefully the Z06/E-Ray Convertible will drop soon to bring a bit more C8 variety to the lineup!

It’s been a while since we’ve seen the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk in the lineup, so it’s nice to see it make a return. This is one of my favorite models to include in the background of a photo as a “regular traffic” car.

Hidden behind the glare is a red recolor of the Jaguar XJ6C. Given how popular the debut blue version was, I suspect this model will also fly off the shelves.

The Opel Astra has proven to be a bit of a pegwarmer in my region, but this shade of blue paint is absolutely gorgeous, so hopefully this version will sell better.

The MBX Field Car gains a National Parks livery that will hopefully help improve its similarly peg-heating tendencies. While I’m still unlikely to be picking one up, I’m sure plenty of collectors will be happy to expand their National Parks collections.

This weeks’ sneaks are rounded out by three trucks with recurring liveries. The Ford and GMC are both licensed, while the EV Trash Truck is a generic design, though it does still look pretty realistic.
That’s it for this week’s sneaks! As always, the list of upcoming Matchbox models has been updated to reflect this new information.
